Sublunary
A long overdue conversation -
What once would have been a great reckoning is now something I can now laugh at, an outcome I never would have thought possible. It’s a momentous breakthrough.
Yet
I ruin the mood, almost immediately, disputing an insignificant fact and sidelining your story. I can only grow so much, apparently.
Reminded daily that I am fallible.
I'd say I'm pretty fully deconstructed at this point, but that's one tenet I'll never disagree with.
